Sync and Privacy

Respecting your privacy is one of the major principles of OnePile. Therefore the data is not stored on a proprietary cloud service but on your local device.

This does not mean you are locked in! Instead you have the freedom to choose where to put your data. To access it from multiple devices, just place the library on a file sharing location like iCloud Drive or Dropbox. The data will automatically stay in sync.

You can also encrypt libraries. Therefore you do not even need to trust the file sharing providers any more. Only the OnePile installations are able to decrypt the data with the correct password. This way an end-to-end encryption is provided and your privacy is protected.
